Newsflash

Helping Hands

As many of you are aware, a group of volunteers meet around 9:00 AM, one Tuesday a month, on what we call "Newsletter Days" to collate, fold, label and generally get the newsletter ready for mailing to over 200 homes.  It is strictly a 'volunteer' effort by both men and women of all ages who have approximately two hours a month to help.  If you have questions, please call Carolyn Rogers at 457-5563.  We welcome 'all hands' to help with this very important means of communication.

 

Memo from Church Secretary

OFFICE HOURS, NEWSLETTER and Bulletin Deadlines It is important that you are aware that Shannon, our church secretary, is available in the office Monday – Thursday, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.    If you need to consult with Shannon, please arrange to meet with her during these hours.  For pastoral concerns, please leave a message for Rev. Don Pangburn or call Polly Ann Henry (729-9173) during non-business hours. Please be sure that you submit your bulletin announcement to Shannon no later than 10:00 a.m., Wednesday of the week you would like the item included.  The deadline for Newsletter items is the third Tuesday of each month.  These deadlines are very important so that the information can be processed in a timely manner.  No late items will be accepted.  You may e-mail your articles to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , or leave them in the church office box in the narthex.  Please keep this information readily available for future reference.  Your help and understanding would be much appreciated so that the communication within our church will run smoothly.

The Pitcher Hill Community Church logo incorporates the famous and distinctive shape of our building, but it also witnesses to Christ, the source of our life, and the transforming fellowship we enjoy. 

The cross is the center of all our worship and activity.  The arrow represents our people coming together from various walks of life, being inspired and enriched as we share in Christian community, and then reaching out beyond our walls to express the love of God in our community and world.
