The church renovations were completed earlier this year after months of planning and choosing just the right colors, fabrics and paint. Nora Scott left us a wonderful gift to make our church look beautiful and inviting. David Rogers documented all the steps involved in the renovations through the lens of his camera. A slide show of all these pictures has been put together on a DVD for all to view. If you are interested in purchasing a piece of our church history, please speak with Carolyn Rogers or Pastor James. There is a suggested donation of $5.00 for the DVD. The proceeds will go towards reducing the church deficit.
WEDNESDAY GROUP NEWS
Please calendar the third Wednesday in January, (January 21) for the first regular meeting of the 2015. We hope that anyone who is interested in becoming a member of the Wednesday Group will join us!! Everyone is welcome....yes, men, the group includes men and women!! Hope to see you on January 21st at 1:30 PM.
We will have a full agenda as there are many things to discuss and decide in our efforts to do our part to help wipe of the deficit in our church budget.
For some people, Sunday mornings are tied up with work, kid’s activities or other commitments making it difficult or nearly impossible to attend a Sunday morning church service. Other people may prefer to worship God in a service filled with praise music.
Our contemporary services are held on the 3rd Friday of every month at 7:30 PM. The next service will be held on Friday, December 19.
Please join us to worship and praise God each Sunday at 10:00 AM.
The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. Those who are unable to be in worship and would like to have communion brought to them, are asked to call the church office (457-5484).
SERVICE OF PRAYERS
A time of personal prayer will be offered during worship on the third Sunday of every month. All who desire prayers of thanksgiving and/or intercession for themselves, for one another, for the world, or for the community, are invited to come forward and pray with the elders. Anointing oil is available.
